My beautiful client, Lisa, invited me to photograph the first  hours of her new baby girls life. I got the call this morning and raced to the hospital as soon as I dropped my two babies (not so much) at school. I am the only one in my family who has had a family so far, so I have not experienced what it is like to wait for the birth.  As much as I was busting to break through the theater doors to capture the moment of birth, it was so lovely to sit with the family in the waiting room, and talk about birth experiences and share stories while we waited for the news that we could meet Lisa and Brad’s new bundle of joy. Ellah was so excited to see her baby sister. The look on her face is priceless.   This was a truly amazing experience. Would I do birth photos again??? Oh my goodness YES!!!  I even got a cuddle <3
