{ Maite & James } 6th May 2012 – A gorgeous Wedding at Mount Lofty House

Last Sunday I set my alarm clock for the very un-weekendly-hour (<— new word right there lol) of 5am and set off to Morphett Vale to photograph a beautiful morning wedding. Morning ceremonies are fairly rare, but on this day it worked well, as rain ended up being forecast for the afternoon. The Ceremony and reception, was up at the ever gorgeous Mount Lofty House. A number of the photos were taken inside the beautiful heritage rooms. I had my assistant with me for the day and I am very great for their help, as I used a LOT of off camera lighting.

Thank you Maite and James for having me there to capture your special day. I hope you enjoy your blog. There will be approximately 3000 proofs for you to pick from. These are some of my favorites.

~ { Emma & Damian } ~ 10th December 2011

Thank you Emma and Damian for letting me capture your wedding day. I loved it when we had our interview and the most important thing you mentioned was….. NOT TRADITIONAL! I hope I for-filled  that request for you. You are such a fun and outgoing couple. It was a blast!  You are both amazing and I know you have a very bright future together <3

Sorry it has taken a few days longer than usual to get the blog posted. Your wedding has the most I have ever shot in one day (3000+ ) so it took a little sorting. I hope you enjoy this selection of photos. There are soooooooo many more =D

{ Sarah & David } ~ 12th November 2011 ~

Last Saturday, was the day of the Christmas Pageant. What a fun and exciting day for families and children. Not so fun for photographers trying to get to the middle of the city when all roads are blocked and traffic is gridlocked. Lucky for me, I had my assistant with me, so while he drove the car inch by inch, I grabbed my pack, and power walked across the city to get to the Groom and his Groomsmen. I received a text message an hour later, from my assistant saying he had just gotten free of the traffic. Yikes!

We made it to the Bride and her Bridesmaids with a lot less complications, but my assistant still had to babysit the car rather than help with the photos, as parking was impossible. Gosh they are gorgeous women and so much fun to photograph!

Despite the traffic, the day ran smoothly and perfectly. David and Sarah are an amazing couple.  Thank you for letting me be apart of your special day and I will now stop rambling and get to the important part. I hope you enjoy your preview  =D

~{ Tash and Gavin }~ No amount of rain will dampen their love <3

Ok, I will write something…. One thing I really love about weddings, is how happy the couple are once they are reunited. Their faces light up, their stomachs un-knot and everyone becomes happy and relaxed. I really love the way they look at one another. So much adoration for each other. My heart does flutters every time I see this transition.

{ Matthew <3 Amanda } ~ The photo heavy blog ~

Below is some of the highlights from Matthew and Amanda’s beautiful wedding day. They are such a fun, easy going and loving couple. I was thrilled when they asked me to cover their wedding photography, only three weeks before the day mind you. It was a tense wait to see how the Winter weather would be on the day, as it poured with rain for the entire week leading up to the day. The weather cleared for the Saturday to a lovely party-cloudy day. It was very wet on the ground still and everyone had lots of fun air-rating the laws with their stilettos.  I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do, and I want to wish Matthew and Amanda every happiness in their new future together as husband and wife! Congratulations!  Liv  xx
